Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) Policy

Effective Date: 23 May 2025

1. Zero-Tolerance Statement

Gossip has zero tolerance for Child Sexual Abuse Material (“CSAM”). Any user found creating, possessing, distributing, or facilitating CSAM will be banned and reported to law enforcement.

2. Definitions

For purposes of this Policy, CSAM includes any visual depiction of sexually explicit conduct involving a minor (under 18 years old).

3. Detection & Moderation

• Automated hashing and image-matching technology.
• User reporting mechanisms.
• Dedicated moderation staff reviewing flagged content.

4. Mandatory Reporting

We promptly report confirmed CSAM to the Philippine National Police Anti-Cybercrime Group (PNP-ACG) and to other relevant authorities such as the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).

5. User Obligations

Users must not upload, share, or request CSAM. Violation results in immediate termination and referral to authorities.

6. Enforcement Actions

• Immediate account suspension and data preservation.
• Permanent ban upon verification.
• Cooperation with law enforcement investigations.

7. Reporting Suspicious Content

If you encounter CSAM, report it in-app or email [email protected] with as much detail as possible.

8. Policy Review

We review and update this Policy at least annually or as required by law.
